THIS WEBSITE IS A PRIVATE INITIATIVE THAT WAS CREATED BY FORMER OPERATORS OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SPECIAL TASK FORCE.
Our purpose of this initiative is to document the history, culture, professional experiences and capabilities of this super-successful and well known but much under-documented Special Forces Unit officially known as the South African Police Special Task Force (SAP STF).
South African Police Special Task Force is the special operations element of the South African Police (SAP) and is considered to be among the best of these types of specialized units in the world today.
The Special Task Force has a formidable reputation in counter terrorism, counter insurgency, hostage rescue and other high-risk paramilitary operations. Like their military special forces counterparts, they are also recognised for being deadly exponents in law enforcement in rural conditions in the African bush.
